Scoil Naomh Feichín

Our School

Scoil Naomh Feichin is a 26 teacher co-educational Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Armagh. The school is located a short drive from the town of Drogheda in the scenic village of Termonfeckin.

Our Curriculum

At Scoil Naomh Feichín, we provide a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum that supports every child to develop their knowledge, skills, creativity, wellbeing and confidence.

We implement the Primary School Curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Education. Our teaching and learning is guided by the Primary Curriculum Framework, with a strong emphasis on children as active participants in their learning.

The curriculum encompasses the following areas:

• Language – English and Irish

• STEM - Mathematics, Science, Technology and Engineering

• Social and Environmental Education – including History and Geography 

• Wellbeing – including PE & Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE)

• Arts Education – Visual Arts, Music and Drama

• Religious Education - Grow in Love Programme

We also provide opportunities for pupils to develop their digital learning, creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills across the curriculum.

Our curriculum is enriched through a wide range of additional learning experiences, activities, projects and initiatives that support the academic, social, emotional, physical and creative development of every child.
